The house, built in the twenties by Europeans under the spell of this spot, is everything except a classical hotel: adepts of air conditionning and attendance with white gloves, forget it ! It has other charms to propose. Small : only two bedrooms, each one with its bathroom. The one, spacious and comfortable, has a double bed. The other, smaller, has twin beds. The main bathroom has kept its ivory tiling and equipment of the early fifties which saw the first renovation of the house. The other one mixes the white Italian marble with traditionnal mosaics, known in Morocco as zelliges.
An outside staircase leads down to the garden level with its double living room opening onto the charming Andalusian patio/terrace, with its flower beds and vines. The stairs, with painted tiles on the floor, leads to the second terrace shaded by ancient fig trees, which have dug their roots into the wall, and an outside living- room which offers a unique view through luxuriant vegetation.
Another garden, lower down, surrounded with secular remparts with 12th century cannon pits, leads to a belvedere where the guests can devote themselves to contemplation. Last but not least: the vaulted cellar, which dates from the time of the pirates - cannon balls on the ground reminds one of the history of this place - adds to the mysterious charm of this house, which is quite exceptional in all respects.
